On September 23rd, 2012, JD Aylward finished his work at the Pro Club, showered, dressed in nice clothes and went with his friends to a wedding celebration. The next morning, he was found brutally beaten and left for dead in the middle of a street in a quiet neighborhood in Bellevue. Everyone who knows JD was stunned by this event. An athlete, star employee, and loyal friend, JD was not the kind of person whose personality or whereabouts would put him in danger’s way. Local police are still investigating this senseless and brutal beating.
UPDATE January 2013: JD is out of the hospital, facing a very long, expensive recovery process and a series of surgeries which will include replacing a large section of his skull. JD is at home now with his single mom, Colleen, who has put her own career on hold in order to care for JD. His young life and hers have changed forever.
Friends and family invite you to contribute to the JD Aylward Victim Fund.
Donations will be used to help pay for the rising medical bills and rehabilitation for JD, as well as his medications and recovery resources. Please help in any of these ways:
